For me photography is all about wonder. A way to discover what surrounds us relying on intuition, raising questions and pointing facts relevant to our own curiosity.
I'm interested in the relationship between physical places and the inner worlds, on how intense emotions and beliefs inhabit the space we are in. Intrigued by the way we all share common threads.
I came into photography as an assistant to the Maestro Jesús Sánchez Uribe at his studio in Mexico City (2000), learning the trade while making reproduction of paintings, sculpture and old documents, working with large format film and in the darkroom. Later as a freelancer I made product shots and editorial portraits for various brands and agencies.
